Fast Weight Loss Using Aggressive Dieting

What is aggressive dieting?

Aggressive dieting is a short-term, structured calorie deficit designed for fast fat loss in a defined timeframe, rather than dieting slowly for months.

How quickly will I lose weight?

Your rate of weight loss depends on your starting point, calorie deficit, and consistency. I will provide a breakdown of your calorie target and the expected weekly fat loss estimate.

Will I lose muscle on an aggressive diet?

Fast weight loss can increase the risk of muscle loss if protein intake is too low. That’s why your plan includes a protein target and macro split designed to help preserve muscle while losing fat.

Do you provide meal plans?

You’ll receive a practical structure with an example menu using typical foods, plus guidance on meals and food choices that fit your calorie and macro targets.

What happens when I reach my target weight?

You’ll receive your maintenance calorie target based on your new body weight, so you know exactly what to eat to maintain your results long-term.

Who is aggressive dieting NOT for?

Aggressive dieting may not be suitable if you want a very relaxed approach with no structure, you feel overwhelmed or highly stressed, or you have a history of disordered eating.

Healthy Ageing for Over 40s

What is the Healthy Ageing programme designed to support?

This programme supports:

  • strength and independence

  • maintaining muscle mass (sarcopenia prevention)

  • supporting immunity

  • reducing fall risk

  • supporting bone health and long-term wellbeing

What is sarcopenia (in simple terms)?

Sarcopenia is the gradual loss of muscle mass and strength as we age. Less muscle can reduce balance and stability, increasing the risk of falls and injury.

Why does protein matter more after 40?

As we age, muscles become less responsive to protein, meaning we often need more protein per meal (not just more overall) to support muscle maintenance and strength.

Do I need to eat protein at every meal?

Ideally, yes. Spreading protein across the day is one of the most effective ways to support muscle health, strength, and recovery after 50.

What if I have a smaller appetite than I used to?

That’s common. We’ll build a plan with practical, manageable meals and nutrient-dense options that help you meet your protein and nutrition needs without feeling overwhelmed.

Can nutrition reduce the risk of falling?

Yes. Maintaining muscle and supporting bone health are key factors in fall prevention, and nutrition plays a major role in both.

Do you support osteoporosis risk and bone health?

Yes — the Healthy Ageing programme includes nutrition strategies to support bone health, alongside muscle maintenance and strength.

Weight Loss Injection Nutrition Support

Do you prescribe weight loss injections such as Wegovy?

No — I do not prescribe or supply injections. My role is to provide nutrition support alongside your medical care.

What do you help with if I’m using injections?

I can support you with:

  • healthy eating plans to support weight loss

  • protein targets to reduce the risk of muscle loss

  • meal structure guidance (especially if appetite is low)

  • healthy meal swaps and practical food choices

  • building habits for long-term success

Can you help me keep weight off after stopping injections like Wegovy?

Yes — this is a key part of my support. I focus on nutrition behaviour change to help you build sustainable eating habits so you can maintain your results confidently after stopping injections.

What if I’m not hungry enough to eat properly?

That’s very common with weight loss injections. I will help you find smaller, higher-protein meal options and simple strategies to make sure you’re still meeting your nutrition needs.

Measurements & Tracking

How will we track progress?

Progress can be tracked in several ways depending on your goals, including:

  • weight trends

  • girth measurements (waist/hips etc.)

  • progress photos (optional)

  • nutrition consistency and protein intake

  • strength, energy and day-to-day confidence (especially over 50)

Do you offer skinfold caliper measurements?

Yes — skinfold caliper measurements are available face-to-face and can be a helpful way to track fat loss changes.

Can you arrange DEXA scans?

I can provide guidance on arranging a DEXA scan, which can offer useful insight into body composition and bone health.

Important Information / Boundaries

Do you work with pregnant women?

No — I don’t currently offer nutrition support for pregnancy.

Do you work with eating disorders?

No — I don’t work with clients who have current or previous eating disorders. If this applies, I recommend seeking specialist support through your GP or an appropriate healthcare professional.
